What could be greener than peddling on a bike at your own pace on a route of your choice through manicured rural villages and fresh countryside air.  The French have been enjoying this relaxed lifestyle for centuries, and we have been doing this for decades so it’s no new green-wash fad from the team here.  You taste the food of the season, with very low food miles because it was probably grown, raised, or pressed in that very village or close by, using organic methods.  Join the hundreds of Aussies who enjoy great food, excellent wine and a natural environment at a human pace.  Get on your bike soon with the original “Cycling for Softies.”

It’s your holiday …so here are some choices to suit you precisely

The Gentle Tourer

This is the favourite option of most of our 'softies', a wonderful combination of exercise and luxury. You stay two nights at each hotel (extra nights can be arranged if you wish), and generally cycle a circular route over 5 to 14 days, ending up where you started - at our base hotel; one day cycling between hotels and the other day simply relaxing around the village or cycling further afield giving you time to explore the region.

A Super Softie
The ideal cycling holiday for a short break or add-on to a conference visit or diversion from Paris stopover. The whole of your stay is in one hotel so you don't have to even get on a bike if you prefer not to. Choose a base which is completely off the beaten track, or perhaps one in the centre of a medieval town buzzing with cafe life and chateaux visits. Family members or partners can cycle over the horizon and back while you do your thing.

Point to Point
This longer distance option lets you ride, over 14 days, from one region to another for both toughies and softies to suit your fitness level and aspirations to see more. One between the Rivers of the Tarn across the Massif Central and the gentler one between the Loire and the Mayenne.

Personalised, bespoke itineraries
We can plan your holiday while in France to fit around your other plans like a glove (or perhaps a smooth pair of bicycle shorts is the analogy) from 3 to 14 nights or longer. You can cycle as much or as little as you want.

Adventurer
Three nights booked with us, two at the start and one at the finish of the holiday and the rest of the time you arrange your own itinerary and book your hotels with the use of our bikes.
